(UPDATE) AT YOUR OWN RISK: MTBAKERVAPOR PULLS ALL CINNAMON FLAVORS

Is that the reading rainbow van?

One of the largest ejuice makers in the world has decided to pull all juices containing cinnamon.  Some recent studies and articles have stated that cinnamon may be toxic when vaped.  The mere mention of toxic in the vaping community can bring a slew of liability issues for juice makers and their insurers (if they have one).

Will this be a growing trend? Let the discussion and debate begin..

LOCATION OF THE FINDINGS CAN BE FOUND HERE

This shows some real dedication by this juice company.  Cinnamon flavors are very popular and  they stand to lose a ton of sales.   This just one example of how the vaping community is very capable of policing and regulating itself.  Hats off to Mtbakervapor for this bold move.

MT BAKERS STATEMENT:

Here at Mt Baker Vapor we have been following the recent studies about Cinnamon flavors very closely. At this time we do not have enough information to make a statement on the issue either way. At this time we have decided to remove any flavors that contain Cinnamon while we continue our research. Our biggest concern is our customers and their health. We will keep you all posted on this situation. Please feel free to contact at [email protected] if you have any comments, questions or concerns.

When a juice maker that fills thousands of bottles a day does this – you should listen.

MY VIEW:
I am not a scientist and have no opinion on the toxicity of cinnamon.  What I DO agree with is a juice maker being extra cautious.  Some would call that panic on their part, I call it good business.  Looking after your customers can only be positive.  After all — we ARE putting these things in our body.  More research is needed.
